What we collect

When you send the enquiry form we store the name, email address, optional phone number and message you typed, along with the IP address the request came from and the time it arrived.

We do not use advertising trackers, we do not sell data to anyone, and we do not run third party analytics that follow you around the web.

Why we collect it

The enquiry details exist so we can reply to you and quote your project. The IP address and timestamp exist to rate limit the form, which is what stops it being used to send spam.

How long we keep it

Enquiries are kept for as long as the conversation is useful, and no longer than 24 months. Rate limiting records are pruned automatically after 24 hours.

Who else sees it

Our hosting provider processes the data as part of running the server. Payment providers, when a project involves them, handle their own data under their own terms. Nobody else receives your enquiry.

Cookies

This website sets no tracking or advertising cookies. The admin panel sets one session cookie, and only for the person signing in to it.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email contact@devvariables.com and we will action it within 30 days.

Client project data

When we build for you, we may be given access to your systems, content and customer data. We use it only to do the work, we do not copy it elsewhere, and we hand back or destroy our copies at the end of the engagement on request.
