Terms of service

These terms apply to work carried out by Dev Variables. Where a signed proposal says something different, the proposal wins.

Scope and quotes

Every project starts with a written quote listing what is included, what it costs and when it is due. Work outside that list is a change request, quoted separately before it begins.

What we need from you

Timelines assume content, feedback and access arrive when agreed. Delays in those move the delivery date by the same amount. We will always tell you when that happens rather than quietly slipping.

Ownership of the work

On final payment, you own the source code and the design we produced for you, outright. We keep the right to show the finished work in our portfolio unless you ask us in writing not to.

Third party libraries and services keep their own licences. We only use ones you can legally run.

Support after launch

One month of technical support is included with every build: bug fixes, minor content changes, monitoring and security patches. It does not cover new features, redesigns, or breakage caused by someone else editing the code.

Your responsibilities

You confirm you have the rights to any content, images, logos and data you give us. You are responsible for the legality of what your site sells or publishes.

Limits of liability

We are liable for our own work up to the amount you paid us for that project. We are not liable for lost profits, or for outages at hosting providers, payment gateways or third party APIs.

Ending an engagement

Either side can end a project in writing. Payment is due for work completed, and the refund policy covers what happens to milestones already paid.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Rajasthan.
