The problem
Hosted platforms take a cut of every order and can change their terms whenever they like. Once a store is doing real volume, that cut quietly becomes the largest line item nobody planned for.
How we approach it
- 01
You own the store
It runs on your hosting, your database and your domain. Nobody can suspend it, reprice it or take a percentage of what you sell.
- 02
Built to hold real stock
Variants, stock levels and order status flow are set up around how you actually sell, rather than left on the demo store defaults.
- 03
Fast under load
Object caching, image pipelines and a CDN are configured from the start, because an unoptimised WooCommerce store slows down the moment the catalogue grows.
Common questions
- WooCommerce or Shopify?
- Shopify is faster to launch and carries the compliance for you, for a monthly fee plus a cut of sales. WooCommerce costs more to set up but takes no cut and you own it outright. Tell us your expected volume and we will tell you which one costs you less.
- Will it stay fast with thousands of products?
- Yes, if it is built for that from the start. Caching, database indexing and a CDN are architecture decisions we make up front rather than fixes applied once the catalogue is already slow.
- Who handles the hosting?
- We set it up, and either maintain it on a retainer or hand it to your team. Either way the account is registered in your name, not ours.
